Cameron Solomon, Band Program Manager

 

As Band Program Manager, Cameron’s primary responsibility includes handling the administrative operations of the Band Program, allowing Director of Instrumental Music Rob Luster to focus on educating and instructing students. Cameron works in tandem with Mr. Luster in leading the rest of the Program Staff in collaborating with the Booster Board by focusing on fiscally responsible long-term growth strategies and sustainability of all the Band Program’s ensembles.

Cameron’s duties include leading staff operations, the recruitment and orientation of new and incoming students, budgeting finances and communication with students and their families on updates regarding the Band Program and its many events. Cameron also serves as the event director and show coordinator for the Band Program, overseeing the Florida Marching Band Championships regional competition, Tampa Bay Fall Music Games, and the Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit regional competition, the Riverview Showcase of Champions.

Additionally, Cameron works as a visual instructor for the Blue Coat Regiment Marching Band. Cameron is also the lead administrative support for the Indoor Percussion Ensemble and previously the Riverview Winds Indoor Winds Ensemble.

Cameron is a proud Riverview alumni, having graduated in 2014 as a four-year member of the Band Program. Full-time, Cameron works is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Coastal Wall Systems of Florida. Previously he worked at Riverview High School in student affairs and administration, as well as for the district in procurement services.
