Chase Deases, Winds Instructor

As one of the newest additions to the Riverview Band Program staff, joining for the 2025–2026 school year, Chase Deases works with the music and visual components that make up our program.

Chase Deases is originally from Katy, Texas, and graduated cum laude from Texas Tech University in 2018. He is an alumnus of The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps, where he marched from 2013 to 2018 on euphonium.

In 2019, Chase moved to Florida to become the Director of Bands at Winter Haven Senior High School, a position he held until 2025. Under his leadership, the Pride of Winter Haven consistently earned superior ratings at both district and state levels in concert, jazz, and marching band festivals.

Beginning in 2025, Chase will pursue a Master’s degree in Conducting at the University of South Florida, studying under Dr. Matthew McCutchen.

Chase is a professional member of the Florida Bandmasters Association and is committed to continual professional growth in the field of music education. Outside of his work as an educator and conductor, he enjoys playing disc golf and is an avid reader.
